How to Dress for Ski Success!

As ski journalists, we learn the ins and outs, do's and don'ts of how to dress for a day of skiing. Like the boy scouts' mantra - "BePrepared" and Murphy's Law, certain ski day prep can make or break your day on the slopes.

Here is Heather Burke's Ski Dress Code blog, including some of her favorite ski products:
  • Hot Chillys base layer
  • Rossignol Experience 88 Skis
  • Rossingol Electra 100 Ski Boots
  • Obermeyer Jacket & Ski Pants
  • Grandoe Leather Ski Gloves,
  • HotHands handwarmers
  • Serius Boot Dryer Sticks
  • Smith IO Recon Goggles
  • SmartWool Ski Sox
  • Turtle Fur neck warmer/balaclava
  • Kerma Composite Ski Poles

Then there are the more sentimental and style items that Heather can't seem to ski without, her Tiffany's bracelet engraved with her broher Kevin's initials and her gangster bling belt!

What are your go to, must ski with items?

See you on the slopes! www.familyskitrips.com

  1. Thank you for sharing these pointers, Heather! Skiing is one of my favorite winter activities. But the snow and the cold weather can be a little tough for skiers, so it is important to bring the right set of clothes and gears. :-)
